We have finally updated our website.
It was long overdue, and with embedded Flickr and YouTube portfolio, we feel that the site finally caught up with the so-called Web 2.0.
Anyhow, I’m thinking of creating a virtual FLG office in Second Life, along with a modern architecture real estate development based on knock offs from famous architects.
This virtual web stuff reminds me of when I was working with VRML (Virtual Reality Markup Language) back in ‘97, which was a pain to code, but created a somewhat browsable 3D environment on the web.
Now, if only I can export the 3D models I did in AutoCAD and FormZ into Second Life…
For example, Villa Dall’ava by OMA (Rem Kookhaas).
I have not tried their 3D software yet, but it does not look robust…
Has anyone done this? Do you have to become a developer to do this? I haven’t had the time to RTFM in SL.
